Calculate pace, speed or a finish time
Choose the pair you know: distance and time, distance and pace or speed, or time and pace or speed. The result assumes a constant average speed; it is not a training prediction.
How to use it
- Select the mode and units: kilometres or miles for distance, minutes per kilometre or mile for pace, and km/h or mph for speed.
- Enter hours, minutes and seconds separately. A pace of 5:30 means five minutes thirty seconds, not 5.30 decimal minutes.
- Read the converted pace and speed. Copy a result or create a share link if needed; the link contains your settings.
Example
- Starting point
- Distance and time mode: 5 km in 0 hours, 25 minutes and 0 seconds.
- What to expect
- Pace: 5:00 min/km. Speed: 12 km/h. The mile pace rounds to 8:03 min/mi.
Before you start
- Distance must be 1 metre–1,000 km, duration 1 second–7 days and speed 0.1–100 km/h, including calculated values. In the duration, minutes and seconds accept 0–59.
- Clock results round to the nearest second. Terrain, stops, fatigue and pace changes are not modelled.
- Anyone receiving a share link can read its settings; it does not save a private training log.
