Read lap times and total elapsed time
The stopwatch measures elapsed time and records each lap without stopping the clock. A lap's split is the time since the previous lap; its total is the time since the measurement began.
How to use it
- Start the stopwatch, then record a lap at each checkpoint.
- Stop to pause the measurement and start again to continue. Reset clears both elapsed time and laps.
- Once a lap exists, export the lap number, split and total as a CSV file.
Example
- Starting point
- Two laps recorded at total times of 30 seconds and 65 seconds.
- What to expect
- The second lap has a 35-second split and a total of 1 minute 5 seconds.
Before you start
- Hundredths are displayed, but click timing, device load and clock changes affect the measurement. This is not calibrated timing equipment.
- State is kept in this browser when local storage is available. Export important laps before clearing browser data or switching devices.
