Merge audio files

Add and reorder your tracks, choose the output format and apply optional fades. Large decoded files may exceed browser memory.

No file bytes are sent to Lutrakit.

Join audio tracks in sequence

Assemble several recordings into one audio file. Choose a direct join or overlap neighbouring tracks with a crossfade, then optionally fade the complete result in or out.

How to use it

  1. Select at least two audio files and arrange them in the desired order.
  2. Choose MP3, WAV or OGG output and a filename. Crossfade and opening or closing fades are off initially; enable only the transitions you need.
  3. Merge, download and listen at each join. Check that a crossfade does not overlap important words.

Example

Starting point
A 20-second introduction followed by a 30-second recording, with no fades or overlap.
What to expect
One file of about 50 seconds. A two-second crossfade overlaps the tracks and makes the combined timeline about 48 seconds; actual encoded duration can vary slightly.

Before you start

  • The queue accepts 2–32 files. Desktop ceilings are 200 MiB per file and 300 MiB combined; some devices receive lower limits shown by the tool.
  • Tracks are re-encoded, and transitions need enough audio on both sides. Codec support and decoded memory use matter as well as compressed file size. This tool joins tracks in order; it is not a multitrack mixing editor.
