Set and check a countdown

Enter a duration to count down from it. Without a saved setting, the timer starts with five minutes in the form. The quick presets start a 1, 5, 10 or 25-minute countdown immediately.

How to use it

  1. Set hours, minutes and seconds, then start; or choose a quick preset to start directly.
  2. Pause to stop the countdown temporarily, then resume. Reset returns to the configured duration.
  3. Keep the page open and check the visible completion message. Sound and background notifications depend on browser permissions and availability.

What to expect
The configured duration is 00:01:30, or 90 seconds. At completion, the display reaches 00:00:00.

Before you start

  • Hours accept 0–99; minutes and seconds accept 0–59. A zero duration cannot start.
  • A suspended browser or sleeping device may delay the alert. An ongoing countdown can be restored from local storage, but closing the browser does not guarantee an alert at the deadline.
