Place a visible signature on a PDF
Draw a signature or import a PNG, JPEG or WebP image, then place the visible mark on a PDF page. The result is a marked copy, not a certificate-based digital signature.
How to use it
- Choose the PDF, then draw your signature or import its image. Adjust its appearance before placing it.
- Open the intended page and position and resize the mark in the preview. Add placements on other pages if needed.
- Name and download the PDF, then open the saved copy to check every placement.
Example
- Starting point
- A three-page PDF with one signature placement added on page 3.
- What to expect
- A three-page PDF with that visible mark on page 3. The mark does not establish the signer's identity or provide a cryptographic verification certificate.
Before you start
- PDF input is limited to 100 MiB and a single operation to 32 placements; signature images also have processing limits.
- Check the recipient's required signature method before using the file. Editing a previously signed PDF may affect validation of its existing digital signatures.
- Saving a signature for reuse stores it in this browser. Avoid that option on a shared device and remove saved marks when they are no longer needed.
